There are constantly openings for pedicab drivers.

We never know when that perfect future pedicab driver will walk up and ask if we're hiring, so we are ALWAYS hiring. Our drivers must meet certain city requirements (see below) and have the desire to meet people, learn the nuances & locations of all city streets in the historic district and become an expert commercial tricycle driver through intensive training. Of course, they must also possess a few natural traits: physical endurance, ability to make sales & offer great customer service, and have "thick skin" when it comes to the occasional heckler. Most of all, great drivers are the men and women that enjoy riding downtown and enjoy getting to know a variety of personalities. They are "instant friends" with everyone they meet, and typically they enjoy the feeling they get from being part of reducing toxic emissions and keeping Savannah green.

The city requires the following to become a Pedicab Driver:

• Current, valid Georgia Diver's License*
• A clean driving record
• Ability to pass a DOT physical

*If you are a college student with a valid out-of-state driver's license, your current student ID at a Georgia College or University will usually allow you to meet this government requirement.
